There are probably more users doing coinjoin than swapping xmr-btc on the exchange.

One pro about xmr-btc swaps is there is no trace on either blockchain that a swap has occurred (better if done p2p with different peers though or at least use different exchanges) while it's very apparent that someone has coinjoined their bitcoin in most cases
