I changed my router the moment I learned that your ISP (or at least Sky) can scan your local network and pull a list of connected devices from their high tower.

They ran a report while my father was on the phone to diagnose the issue and the issue was (of course 😂) too many devices connected. They started listing the devices connected and I snapped.

1. They can control the device remotely!? Maybe they can only pull a report, but that's already too much. Worst case, they can access the local network.

2. They're dumb. They don't try to diagnose the issue, they just find a way to make it your fault. At one point we had a "senior engineer" come in, reset the router and when things started connecting, he said "done". Then I changed the WiFi name and password and we started getting intermittent issues again. His answer: "it's because you renamed the WiFi, we don't support that, don't do it" 🤯

Still pissed it seems, even though this is was at least a year ago 😂
