starting to go back to the thought of getting a pixel and running graphene. problem with that is that most of the people i care about have iOS and i have a shared album where i drop pictures of my family as were growing. anyone have any potential (preferably FOSS and private) alternatives?

I have similar thoughts but I’m much deeper into the apple ecosystem than just shared albums. I’m not convinced it would be worth the hassle.
same, i really want to know if there’s a viable alternative to these comforts i’ve grown accustomed to from apple. i don’t mind doing a little legwork but i need to retain that connection with my circle that still uses iOS.
