Yeah my family is the same way. Binge drinking is frowned upon but we drink wine or beer with dinner . We have coffee with desert after too which I saw they also do in Spain

Same with soccer. They used to laugh at you over there for asking if they had any decent ball games like football. Now they all bloody love it 😂
Eh it’s def growing in popularity but still pretty niche . They love American football like a cult . I like soccer tho it just sucks we are bad at it still . At least we fired our team USA coach after that embarrassing tourney

I will say I do like English soccer where the loser has to go to a lower league and good teams can advance. That appeals to me. Flush the turds, promote the people who try hard. Oddly American, something we don't have in any leagues college or pro

Agree re soccer. I also like the new CFB rules where they have to start going for two. I like CFB > NFL overtime in general.
Cfb is better than nfl in general lol I can’t watch the nfl too much dancing
CFB is miserable to watch if you follow a team. Only like 1/3 of the games are actually competitive if your team has a chance to win it all
