dennis e taylor - we are legion

Oh I read those.

Piers Anthony Phase and Proton books are pretty awesome, that's the first thing that pops up when I read the question

First Law Series - Joe Abercrombie

The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis.

There more I look around..... It feels like we are being ruled by the NICE people.

I only read out of the silent planet, I need to finish the trilogy

Well worth it.

Dune and Hyperion for me

I was about to say the Ian M Banks books - I just hoovered them up - but i was a kid and I wonder now. Might have to go and reread them. The Culture was a kind of utopia but I think the main characters were usually outsiders. I suspect I might find The Culture a lot more dystopian now. Maybe it always was and I needed to grow up

Bryce O’Connor - Iron Price + Fire &land Song (Warformed: Stormweaver Series) is a combo sci-fi fantasy series, best I’ve ever read

Martha Wells - Ally Systems Red

Rob J Hayes - Titan Hoppers series

Adrian Tchaikovski - Children of Time series

Andy Weir - Artemis

Andy Weir - The Martian

Erwin Scott Card - Ender’s Game series

Jamie McFarlane - Privateer Tales Series

Fire and Song**
