NRA implies only one political side as well and bitcoiners seem to be of many political leanings or apolitical.
Not sure why they push the tie to something so controversial. Doesn’t need to be inflammatory and a bit of a red flag to bucket it like that imo.

But I agree there could be better metaphors and comparisons. Bitcoin is open source code, not a political entity
