OHGOP does whatever the right wing extremist MAGAs want, in order to get their votes, stay in power, make Ohio a one party state, with grift for the likes of former leader of the House #LarryHouseholder How much grift is #FrankLaRose lining up?
nostr:npub1tf489l2mm4jgjxs5s9anxfx40vt0ptt99ls8yfs00t3t8vjkjntq4cnzuj Madison warned us against Issue One: the GOP plan to replace a 50.1% majority with 60% to amend the Ohio constitution.
If approved, "it would be no longer the majority that would rule; the power would be transferred to the minority” when it comes to passing laws or other measures, he said in Federalist 58.
Worse, Issue One + GOP gerrymandering together will put bad legislators and bad policies out of reach of the voting majority.
Issue One is tyranny of the minority in action.

DeSantis showed the way when a ballot initiative restored the voting rights of felons who had served their time. He undid that easily.
Until anti-abortion legislators are replaced, abortion will remain banned or more restricted with time.
Initiatives are only temporary hurdles.
