If you're a parent, it's your job to suffer for your children. It pains me to see narcissistic parents that complain about not getting to do something because of their kids.

This is the correct answer. Seeing adults live solely for their children is depressing as hell.
šš It's not easy though. Gosh some days I still question what we do. But then I sit back and get real with myself. I know in my heart these children of mine are getting the best education I can provide. World travel isn't always what they think is best, but I'm certain they will thank me later š š

This, so much. š When you have kids, your life is no longer about you. They are the most important thing you will ever create. I always wonder if Iām doing enough to help prepare them for the world they will inhabit.
