Somebody told me being a gold bug is a harder emotional journey than being a Bitcoiner.
I disagree.
Being a Bitcoiner is hard because you’re constantly oscillating between being a winner and a loser.
This fucks with your emotions.
Whereas being a gold bug is easy, because everyday you can just wake up and look at yourself in the mirror and say “yep, there’s that fucking loser again”.

Imo there aren’t many gold bugs. If you store your wealth in gold, thats a personal decision but it doesn’t shift you so ideologically you are willing to being annoying af about it. The ideological gold bugs are mostly the rent seekers who are brokers and dealers. Making money on gold in both directions.

I guess being a fiat bug is the hardest
One thing i will say is i have never felt a loser with stacking sats. Yes, there have been testing times mulling the future of how the World is moving but i needed this incredible sound money and bitcoin awakened me to realise this was a fantastic opportunity. Gold on the other hand just reminds me of those dusty, drab stale offices where people who work there just hold on but know the World has moved on.
