It’s simply a battle of centralizing forces vs decentralizing forces.

That’s all it comes down to.

Delegating responsibility vs. taking responsibility.

Reliance vs. self-reliance.

Authorities vs. autonomy.

Right now the momentum is towards centralization but that can quickly change.

It all comes down to what we all [globally] want.

The biggest challenge is, the further we go in one direction, the bigger the catalyst needs to be to reverse course.

Luckily, we have a lot of decentralizing forces working in our favor and they continue to grow in size and impact.

The question is, are we living in a bubble or are these forces truly growing?

These decentralized forces are growing.

For me it comes from the inside and for many it will be so too.

More and more will come, adopt and understand.

Decentralization will also finds it's way in the real world aka the multi polar world.

Momentum will kick in eventually. Hard

Definitely growing. How far this movement will grow remains to be seen but it has two main things going for it:

1) freedom and sovereignty appeals to a broad set of people from all different localities / cultures / nationalities / occupations / backgrounds.

2) there are accessible and open-source software and hardware tools available to that broad set of people so they can increase their freedom quotient if they want to.

I think #2 is the main catalyst and reason why this movement can actually grow unbounded and ultimately succeed. Most “movements” only serve to stoke existing discontent with nothing actionable behind them other than angry people yelling into the void as the issues churn on and intensify.

Having a vehicle for change is definitely makes a huge difference.

I think will be the critical factor.

Everyday I find more and more people breaking out of the illusion and think, bout time you fuckers made it.
