Bitcoin locked in multisig by a custodian and an equivalent amount of Wrapped bitcoin is minted. It is tokenized. The effect is bitcoin taken off the market, until the contract is reversed.

I have studied enough to have more than 90% of my considerable fortune in pure bitcoin. I don’t care how other people get exposure to it, directly or indirectly. And without the indirect, layer 2, 3 or 4 ”solutions” that now are in place, bitcoin would not be the success that it now is.

It uses bitcoin that is locked and taken off the market. In my world that is a form of layer of bitcoin, similar to Microstrategy which I suppose you also find repulsive, the REAL and PURE BITCOINER you are😅
