If I signed up for Nostur and then separately for Primal, that means I have two different private keys, correct?

So these accounts will not share content?

So the correct order of steps is: sign up for an account on some nostr client, then use that private key to sign in to subsequent nostr clients.

Have I got that right?

yes, or use a browser plug-in like Alby, which stores ur private key for log-ins on several clients.

Thanks!

So, I can just ditch the primal account by logging out, then log back in with my Nostur private key, right?

That will create a new primal account connected to my Nostur account.

Have I got that right?

You can do that. An nsec works in any client.

Technically it doesn’t create a Primal account connected to the Notstur one. They’re just different clients (apps) for the same ‘account’ (nsec)

Correct! 👍

Yes you got that right!

Also, be careful with that private key, if you lose it then there's no recovery possible
