I believe someone slipped something in my drink Friday night. I wanted to say something so that others will remember to be extra cautious and observant. Besides getting horribly ill, I’m ok. I have questions about that night that will probably not be answered. The who, why, and what exactly I was dosed with I may never know. I was lucky that I was there with a man I trusted who was able to get me home safely and take care of me. It’s terrible when you’re told you’re one of the lucky ones because you just got horribly sick at home and not further assaulted. It’s terrible when even the police are like well someone should be back in on Tuesday to take a report. I think of all the parties between now and then and how someone may not get so “lucky”.

That’s horrible…someone that needs to slip drugs into a woman’s drink is truly a sick individual. Hate this happened to you, glad you’re okay, and proud that you are strong enough to speak out and possibly save someone from this in the future. 🤙🏻🫂

That’s awful Mallory but I’m glad you were in safe hands. I’ve been spiked more than once due to living in rough areas and just that experience alone is terrible, let alone what can go wrong from that point. Hopefully you feel better soon

Well, “luckily” for me, it’s likely that someone got drinks mixed up or just did it for fun. Doesn’t seem like there were any intentions beyond that. The comedown off these drugs is real though but just know that it does start to feel physically better soon 🫂
Im glad you where with someone trustworthy. Getting dosed with God knows what is a violating experience. Only scum dose people. Urg.

I used to be really into the EDM scene in my 20's. We were at shows multiple times a week, we'd get blasted and weren't particularly responsible (maybe a little). Luckily that never happened to anyone we knew. It's a good thing too because if I caught someone trying that with someone I am not a person who abstains from violence.
