Good ... luck? ... on that path. Tried that years ago but pretty quickly fell back to my daily routine. Any specific reason why you try getting off coffee?
Let's see how long I can hold out. I've set myself 30 days. I've just been drinking too much coffee lately. Up to 5 cups a day
Hope you'll be able to do it. Can pretty much relate with that. First two days, back then, were ... horror, to be honest. But it got better at some point... .
To be honest, I had a severe headache last night. It's supposed to be related to the caffeine withdrawal.
Yes. It is. (Actually, I experienced this for the last time during the pandemic lockdowns when I had coffee all day and just in the afternoon learnt that I by accident picked a decaffeinated one. π Still scary to see these effects. They should be gone at least by tomorrow I think, but ... yeah, it's no fun.)
Yes, that really is a bit scary. I hope it gets better today. It makes me a bit nervous that everyone around me is drinking coffee. But it's precisely because I realize how big an impact caffeine has on me that I want to persevere.
As I see you already fell back to tea as a replacement, does that somehow help and work at least against that kind of being nervous in social situations? (Had that effect much more back ages ago when I gave up on cigarettes, that was challenging as well.) Personally, having people around me drinking coffee usually helps better staying away from it because in most of these situations it boils down to the coffee being mediocre to outright bad (like, the usual office-meetings-coffee brewed in the morning and consumed until late afternoon). π

Yesss Luna π₯π₯ππ«π₯Ή nice one
You could also try replacing that tea with a warm bone broth. Itβs like a little nutrient bomb, but warm and cozy.
