The reason I don't trust this stuff is: why doesn't he just implore Americans to buy and self-custody #Bitcoin?
That is what a sincere Bitcoiner would do, instead of making promises on the condition that Americans vote for him.
Either he doesn't understand Bitcoin or he has an ulterior motive.
He is fundamentally still a ststist.
Bitcoin in the hands of the state empowers the state.
Bitcoin in the hands of the individual empowers the individual.
Nothing is a greater threat to the state than empowered individuals.
It's that simple
Well he is speaking terms of being a politician and running the government, not a bad thing to say he is going to have the government buy #bitcoin. I’m not sure how much he knows about self custody
