I just had the most intense interaction with a man for the past hour. I was walking on the boardwalk and he rode by on his bike. I stopped to sit on a bench and he pulled up. He stopped to hit on me, but I soon spoke to his humanity and we got deep fast. I gave him my ear; he needed to be seen and heard. He's an army vet and probably homeless, but seemingly okay, clean cut, well put together. He says he lives way below his means but does wish he could sleep more (I assume bc there's no where totally safe to sleep). What this country does to soldiers and to our most vulnerable is π He was so on point too. He talked like a bitcoiner... Pointing to the evil elite and the corruption. Telling me of his own spiritual war. I think normies might think he's paranoid but I related to everything he said. His parents don't even know he's still alive. I really hope Bitcoin fixes this too. I gave him $20 and I'm kicking myself for not giving more.

I agree with your assessment of what we do to veterans and the most vulnerable π«€π«€
My brother died homeless of a fentanyl od last year so I have a very soft spot. No I'm sorrys. He's much more at peace now. We all have it bad to varying degrees, but his existence was on the hellish end of the spectrum. I'm happy he's free now. But yeah, I totally cried walking away from this interaction and posted a note to vent. Thanks for chiming in. ππ«
