I think it does depend on what drugs you're on.

Well, I've been using #nostr for a quite a lot longer than I thought I would. Maybe I get that dopamine hit out of it. Maybe it's the novelty or the amount of interaction or the kinds of interaction. I'm not sure, but I'm staying for a while longer.
