Maybe it's just me having a thing for public transportation, but $1 to take an air conditioned bus with better seats than the plane straight to downtown Houston is nothing short of great.

I've found that as long as a trip is less than about 12 hours on a bus, I am perfectly willing to take it. Once it gets above that 12 hour mark, I'm just like, nope, I will fly. I did a 48 hour bus trip one time and never again if I can at all help it.
I usually hate buses and love anything on rails, but it seems my argentinean standards are set pretty low.
I have never been on any sort of long-distance train, so I have no idea what that's actually like. I've been on local city, light rail, a lot of times, but never any long distance.
