She’s been hunting with me since she was 18 months. She’s shot a deer every year since she was 5. Started with a crossbow and has been using a rifle for three years now. She’s 13.

These are the times we truly connect and have meaningful conversations without distractions. I don’t give two hoots if she fills her tag or not.

I know that one day soon, she’ll be out of the house and we’ll have these memories to remember together.
