A lot of things annoy me but the thing that I find most frustrating is when people just say shit without understanding what the fuck they are saying.

ME: "bitcoin is a good way to deal with inflation."

Normie: "no because bitcoin is a speculative asset."

Me: "what does speculative asset mean?"

Normie:

They just don’t understand money is all.

That's fine. I don't understand a lot of things but why make an argument you don't understand? All that says is to me is that you outsource your thinking and are completely fine with believing in things you can't prove to be true.

They don’t know that they don’t understand it. You ask them what backs the dollar and they will 100% of the time say “the government” and that’s it. They stop thinking at that point. When you explain to them how the fed works they think you’re making up a conspiracy. That’s the reality of it. They are convinced that the government knows what it’s doing and that they can fix it stay on course. They believe that. They believe that Donald Trump knows something that no one else knows that’s going to fix their money.

They want to believe in what they have been told. Sad.

They don't have to understand because the media backs them up

So what you're saying is that they can have fun staying poor

Literally 90% of what they say, they've never thought about. They're just parrots. Or lemmings. Lemrots.

seriously!

Depressing but true

Not everyone wants to be helped, they prefer to complain about their shity life.

The lesson here is don't talk to normies

Life gets lonely and I'm surrounded by normies. Idk what the solution is lol

I bought a V8, seemed to help.

How did that help lol

Hard to hear dumb normie shit over the engine

HAHAHAHA

At some point I gave up on having real conversations with normies

I don't argue anymore. It took years for me to develop the discipline to just let people be wrong. I still do care about a lot of them and hope they can protect themselves from the suffering to come.

My mindset now is just being a calm touch point on Bitcoin. If I get a truly organic question I will answer, but no more will I initiate the conversation. Not sure if its the right way but thats my thing now.

Kind of where I am although we may have different opinions on what constitutes a touch point
