Well, that escalated quickly.

A new pup!

I've been having such a difficult time getting this cacti enough nitrogen. It keeps growing so much, so fast, that it's frequently "yellowish". Finally, I made a five gallon mixture of fish emulsion, and fed it 1000 ml every few hours for a couple of days.

The color is starting to come back, and today I noticed a new pup on the column where a pup had stalled out before! Today the cacti got a dose of lactobacillus, and this pot was dosed with a lump of fish emulsion mixed into the top layer before watering. I'm determined to get this cactus green again!
