I personally know someone whose house was pretty much destroyed. She's a gem in the community, and she and her family are safe but have lost almost everything.

My friend's GoFundMe is here. I'm not crazy about GFM as an organization but I'm grateful that someone set this up for her. She's lovely: dedicated to family and community (and patient enough to tolerate me ranting about the Fed!).

She had to run out of the house barefoot with her grandchild in her arms when it looked like a dam was about to fail.

Their home is destroyed.
