I've been reflecting on the current state of the Bitcoin Core repository and am still working through what concrete points I can add to the discussion that would be of value.

But one lesson I can share right away - something the 2015-2017 Blocksize Wars taught me - is this:

1. Always try to move in the direction of aligning your own truth with objective truth.

2. As you do that, pay close attention to who genuinely engages with you (even through respectful disagreement), versus who simply uses the trend to tear you (or others) down in order to boost themselves.

The difference between good-faith engagement and opportunistic attacks is everything.

As a Core expert are you worried for the future or are you Bitcoin doesn't care

What worries me the most from what is going on is that a lot of individuals will be unnecessarily vilified / ostracized.

From my POV Bitcoin already reached escaped velocity, so it doesn't matter from that perspective... but we'll move slower and there will be forking. One of the replies on my post on X said it well:

There is no such thing as subjective truth. The truth, by it's very nature, is objective. ๐Ÿง

If your opinion is unaligned with objective truth, then you are simply WRONG. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™‚๏ธ

We need to stop catering to delusional individuals & call shit for what it is. ๐Ÿค™
