There aren't actually that many people writing original content that really adds to my knowledge base, so I just scroll past almost everything in my feed and I'm tempted to start using lists, again.

It's also not enough for someone to be interesting. They have to be interesting, on a regular basis, so that I'm tempted to open the app up regularly (preferably daily) and see what they've written and interact with them.

That is hard work and takes talent and time. Can eat up hours every day. Like being someone who writes a daily column for an online newspaper and responds to comments from the public.

I realized this when I took a break for about a month and some of my followers left Nostr because there was "nothing on". It's been hard work getting them back into the habit of coming here.

I try to repost interesting people, so that my followers add them and their feed doesn't die when I'm gone.
