Those of you with glasses, how do you wear them all day? I have had glasses for years and I've never been able to wear them for longer than maybe an hour at a time.
Discussion
I probably should be wearing them more often but I can't they are frustrating, I don't think I've ever even worn them outside before now that I'm thinking about it.
lasik eye surgery was the best money i ever spent hands down
I’ve had to wear glasses since early teens. Materials have greatly improved (lighter lenses and frames) so that helps. Because it’s a necessity for me, I got used to them. Not being able to wear non-prescription sunglasses is always a pain point, though I did have a prescription pair that darkened in sunlight. Was great until they eventually stayed half dark. 🕶️
If you can identify what aspect of them doesn’t work for you (weight, area of vision, sore ears) maybe a different brand or style could help.
Plastic lenses weigh much less than glass. Light weight frames make a difference.
The proper fitting on the nose is the hardest part.
For the last decade I’ve had the same “carbon fiber frame” from rayban. It went though way to many frames lens combos to find something that works for me.
