Yes you’re correct….bur I know I’ve rarely ever had a new vehicle and when you get that first ding or scratch, it sucks. At least that how it’s been for me. 🤙🏻🫂

Two months ago I caused a similar damage to a neighbors car and in the end they accepted 500€ while them and others convinced me that handling it via the insurance the fix would have cost at the very least 2500€.

No, that was a right side ! I have insurance but I didn’t want report this and paid on my own 🫣 cost me a little bit but now another lesson learned 😉
