Homeschooling, especially if you have several kids, is actually a bad option.

I heard this from a teacher in the past, but she didn’t have kids. Not even a husband. I’m not saying that’s the case. I’m genuinely asking.

The biggest requirement is time and dedication. Then, there’s consistency and a program that you have to stick to. As they get older, you also need to understand well the knowledge you give to your children.

As an alternative, you can hire private teachers to teach different disciples, but their number will increase with time, which may become cost-prohibitive for many.

Yes, there’s also online education portals but I wouldn’t want my kids to spend all their time i studying in front of a screen.

So I think most parent simply aren’t ready to commit to this for so many years.

Thank you so much. It really made me think. And I agree.

I strongly disagree. I loved being homeschooled and it worked out really well for my family that had several kids.

I was never bored in school until I started going to college. I am incredibly grateful that my parents spared me from 12 years of boredom by homeschooling their children.

I grew up with two sisters and all three girls graduated from university with engineering degrees. Name another school that has 100 percent of their graduating classes go on to be successful in STEM.
