Grayscale got the ETH ticker, and not for their spot ETH ETF but for a mini ETF fund (what ever it means). If it was not already confusing enough, SEC (or whoever approved this) added another stone to the general confusion.

I also so bet that the ETH ETF with the ETH ticker will not be one share = 1 ETH, like none of the BTC ETF are, so you could end up finding one price for ETH, the ETF, and another for ETH, the token on the Ethereum blockchain.

That's really some high level shitcointry going on here.
