You won't find a better view of the stars from where I live

I remember moving out here a few years ago after living in the city for over a decade

It was a very big change

I was out here by myself for over a year

I remember standing on the deck one night looking up and saying "please let me know if I'm in the right place here"

I shit you not...

Within 10 seconds I saw a shooting star

Who knows if it was a coincidence

But I haven't looked back or second guessed since that moment

In high school we had a foreign exchange student from South Korea who had never seen stars before and didn't think you could actually see them from earth with the naked eye. He was mesmerized when he got to small town Idaho.

Where is this (roughly?)

Looking up at the night sky is awe inspiring. On a clear night we sit out side and look up, makes you realise we are just a tiny spec of dust in the big picture of the universe.

There are no coincidences.

what a coincidence.

i knew you were going to say that.

I left MB years ago but glad you’re appreciating it’s beauty Jor

no risk no reward. I made a similar move myself 7 years ago. these things have a way of working out.

A Zen master in the woods 🧘 ... Big kudos to you for making that shift. I’m sure the mental stillness you find there is unmatchable

nothing beats the stillness
