Now, that's a hot take. You mean digital protocols? Would look forward to reading more about that future. I've been intrigued by Edan Yago from the Sovryn (BitcoinOS) project who says something very similar.
Hej, I mean what is a protocol? I was digging in to it with some plebs in Atlantis and what I gathered is a set of rules. Does it have to be digital? Not necessarily. The whole nature is organized by some kind set of rules. And what i see it’s a healthy way of organizing. Feels in flow with nature. When we have clear rules of the game the game becomes interesting… otherwise we don’t know what are we playing. If the rules being changed all the time it gets boring.
Now Bitcoin is protocol.
Nostr too.
I see service organizations (governments) organized and runned by protocols to serve society. Not the other way atrocious. When we will reach the point where Fiat has lost interest in the market. We still gonna need somehow to organize and I don’t see other way how we can have organizations that serves all of us, helps us to communicate with each other, emergency care, communication, fireman…. We will need some one to do some parts that we won’t be able to or would be willing to be a part of therefore we will need to find the way how to fund those organizations and how to verify that they are doing what they been designed for, what i mean so organization is serving the mission in alignment with a protocol.
And i assume we will keep the principles of Bitcoin and value first to get funds. So operating on protocols organizations that will be doing the best job for society will be chosen by the people and rewards will be granted accordingly. Gamified societies. Mission driven economies. Minimum consumption. Best results. People who would love serving the most and it’s their nature will be reworded the most. It’s just thats how nature works if we can make the choice which animal to feed.
Individual protocols we all have and that’s principles and values. And we know when we playing life by our own protocols and when we off. It’s in the feeling and deeper inner knowing.
We are nature. Cell is protocol. DNA is protocol.
It’s a set of rules.
What digitalization brings is that we can reinstall old systems to new fundamental protocols.
Decode the ego. Decode manipulation. Code incentives. We live in abundant reality. We just need order. Protocols, decentralization, sovereignty, life driven by passion and lived in harmony with nature and community thats what matters. Protocols will liberate humans from mind traps. Protocols created and chosen by free market will bring nature back to the table fittest, with integrity, alignment, walking the talk will win. It’s just math :)

Hej, yeah, lots in there, love the optimism obviously ... and it helps musing about it in the spirit of Atlantis, hehe.
A protocol is a set of rules, for sure, and actually we are already living in societies based on protocols. Nation states' constitutions, the UN mechanism etc. are all protocols. But they are enforced by institutions run by humans. And without getting too much into details here, the vast majority of humanity is currently not (yet) in a state to enforce protocols in a way that doesn't corrupt the protocol framework eventually. One might say that the global hegemonial societies are currently going through a period of overreaching corruption that is bound to bring about fundamental change. An interesting question is how much of that corruption is intentional and how much is done unconsciously.
In any case, I think with the example of money, we are witnessing that a protocol so far enforced by humans working in institutions (fiat monetary system), has the potential to be run more efficiently by a digital protocol, Bitcoin. It works in a decentralized and trustless way, something non-digital protocols weren't able to achieve. The separation of powers in a nation state, checks and balances, is aiming at decentralization, but obviously can't come close. That's why I was asking if you mean digital protocols, because that seems to be the only way to enforce a protocol in a decentralized way.
In a way, and that's been my argument for a while now, we humans are weaseling ourselves out of our responsibility to fix our psychological problem of corruptedness, by transferring enforcement power to decentralized digital sets of rules. For our own sake, I think it's high time we address our psychological problems first and foremost, raise our state of consciousness. But if decentralized protocols can help us thrive in the transition phase, so be it.
What I'm interested in is to sketch out more vividly and 'realistically', how it would be possible to transfer enforcement power to decentralized protocols other than the monetary system. Even with Bitcoin, there are debates to be had what's needed to actually run a healthy, thriving monetary system on Bitcoin. Are auxiliary protocols for different functions needed?
And then there's always the question of adaptability of protocols to changing circumstances. We may agree that if a core decentralized protocol runs in alignment with the laws of nature, it can be set in stone. But other areas need to be malleable and then who decides about the changes of the ruleset? The people through a voting mechanism? How is that run best?
These are questions I'm interested in exploring and exchanging about.
I love that you see protocols as transitional period to higher state of consciousness and coexistence.
I am pretty much living in some kind of utopian reality where i can play with a lot of fundamental principles. Out of lack mentality.
Abundant reality. Big part of my life is surrounded by BurningMan principles combined and intertwined with Bitcoin and fundamentals of what for example Dr. Joe Dispenza or Tao Te Ching life philosophies were reminding us for thousands of years.
Bitcoin is a discovery. It can mean that it already existed in far past. Which is also present in the now. Healthy protocol is a healthy reminder.

Think I'm living something very similar here, feeling blessed with an abundant life myself, not as much in a monetary sense, but in important aspects of life and in connection with nature. I came to where I'm now from the sphere of international environment protection, saw that in the current economic and political setting this can't go anywhere, then focused on the inner journey (Vipassana, J. Krishnamurti, practicing Wim Hof) and discovered the beauty of Bitcoin.
