Getting older isn’t the problem. Giving up is.

I don’t run much these days knees hurt , motivation’s low, ankles are sketchy, and let’s be honest, I’m not 20 anymore.

But nothing humbles you quite like getting passed a mile from the finish line… by a 71-year-old who’s moving like he’s late for a meeting with Father Time himself.

That guy woke up early, braved the cold, and ran fast not because he had to, but because he still chooses to.

So thank you, sir, wherever you are. You didn’t just beat me today, you reminded me what’s possible when you keep showing up and taking care of yourself.

Time to get back after it.
