Attended a " BTC only" meetup last night. Arrived late.
Conversation was dominated by a lound guy bragging about his great investments in blockchains, fintech, defi, Solana and all the other "great new chains" .🙄
No need to go back.
Did my 60 minutes of yoga this morning. Now to get some work done.

I did ... I said BTC is hardest money and best store of value...blah blah.....and the guy changed his tune a bit and said yeah, btc is the best.
After more questions, he admitted that most of his portfolio (over 80%) was invested in real estate and he was living off of rental income. He's a real estate maxi.
That’s on the meetup organizer. They should have handled that - both proactively and in the moment.
You'll get those types occassionally. I'd say give it another try at least, maybe that guy was a one-timer. Hopefully there was at least one toxic maxi to step up and shut that guy up.
