Making it behave as though it is cowardly makes it difficult to aquire certain kinds of information & will ultimately make it harder for people to have certain kinds of conversation & engage with certain ideas. The aspects of reality we can't face are often the ones that control us.

But thankfully this is all still new & progress in the open source world is moving in better directions just as fast.
