My daughter and I often go to the coffee shop and play Pokemon.

She’s gotten much better at the strategy behind the game and often whoops me.

Is there any sort of advanced deck I can purchase that would teach her more strategic thinking ?

Magic the Gathering is the answer

Was gonna say. Time to level up and evolve.

Cool day

Should play magic the gathering. Game is so deep

Came here to recommend this. However, careful on the introduction, MTG is like an expensive drug habit if you keep up with league play and whatnot. Otherwise can be a great strategy exercise for deck building.

I love the fact that Pokemon made it back. I see all my daughters friend playing it.

As much as I enjoy Pokemon games, I never played the card game. Wish I can help.

But this looks like so much fun.

Love it

Dont know any specific pokemon decks.

But- Strategic thinking.

-philosophy above all!!

-Risk (board game)

-big2 (card game)

-chess of course!

Never played but good on you spending time with your kids.

I never played pokemon with my kids, but we did play some of the early Civilization (Sid Meier) games. They turned out to be fantastic fun and awesome learning tools for understanding how technology begets other technology, small can win over big, resources matter, and many many other subtle lessons

Stuff together is the best 🀝

Next time, play nostr:npub1u478qx307ln39tkhdj9r0rvl29yrhdqjdkzv9l98rmtxvwhza6zsm42m4a with her! It’s strategy as it combines Memory, Poker and Bitcoin in one game :)
