But as long as only a few clients implement it, it is eay to write notes, which do not find my followers or not being able to find the notes of all my follows, when most of them have no relay metadata yet...

How do you handle this problem? I am thinking to wait until #amethyst and #damus implemented it and hope that everything will work better then.

Most people are never going to setup their inbox, outbox relays. That's far bigger issue than the lack of support by older clients. Most clients, even those that work with outbox do not create inbox/outbox lists and when they do it is either lots of big relays or a collection or random ones that barely work.

Hoping to write a tool to fix this for everyone

I think you should focus on flotilla (relay is fixed). :)

I'll also focus on that 😂

I am hoping you are wrong on that.

Or are there alternatives to make Nostr really decentralized, censorshipproove and scalable?

Not really, we need to educate users to choose relays and to constantly switch between them when they need. Lots of work ahead.

But how does this scale and at the same time give certainty to not miss notes of people I follow?
