⚡️🎮 NEW - Ubisoft has suffered a major breach: hackers exfiltrated terabytes of internal source code repositories covering nearly all games, tools, SDKs, and services from the 1990s to current projects.

The attack exploited a MongoDB vulnerability and coincided with the Rainbow Six Siege outage and database tampering on December 27-28, 2025.

No code has been publicly released yet, and Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the source code theft.

Congratulations on Ubisoft for going full open source 😅

Again? Last time around their build engine for Division got wiped from their servers and they had to literally re-develop the thing. Resulting in an entire Division season being cancelled because they couldn't update the game for weeks.

So I wonder what third party hacks and mods are going to be coming out. Lol

Meh, I’ve always thought Ubisoft games sucked. Guess the hackers will find that out for themselves.
