A man who is tired of rice is tired of Quinoa ๐
๐ it takes its toll on my system in many ways
I almost never eat it. But everything here comes with rice.
So far the best rice I've ever had comes from this husband/wife duo just up the road from my hotel.
Holy basil, pork belly and rice for $1.50. includes a small packet of fermented fish sauce with chili.
Is it really still that cheap! I havenโt been to Thailand for 10 years.
Anything with pork belly is amazing
Idk what 50 baht is in AUD
About $2.40 amazing
Yeah, they don't speak a word of English either and if your were to get it at a restaurant or online via delivery your looking at around 129 baht for the same meal.
And she cooks it right there in front of you tossing it up. Amazing experience tbh like your own personal chef.
Ah I miss Anthony Bourdain
Ah same! Heartbreaking when he left us.
this seems to be a common thing around the world. I got tried to eating rice in china. They literally eat rice for every meal. This becomes a problem in Canada because they keep flooding the country with Indians and the eat curry all the time so if your in an apartment the whole apartment building will reek of curry.
I don't think we eat the same thing in western countries. Possibly pizza but not for breakfast, lunch and supper.
Swap the pizza for hotdogs
The burger is top shelf imo, like probably the most iconic American food globally. Maybe Pizza too.
Oddly enough all Italian food is from elsewhere, but that's thanks to Rome.
