If people understood the realities they lived in beyond what they can see, it would totally wreck their beliefs.

Yeah, the work that Donald Hoffman (Physicist & Cognitive Scientist) is doing on the nature of reality, the structures that exist beyond space time and the implications that consciousness is fundamental is very interesting. Already got some folks knickers in a twist!
If people get upset about the real nature of reality, I am 100% fine with it. Their feelings about reality being what it is don't change reality and that's part of what I love about reality. It's a pretty good teacher that repeats its lessons over and over until a person stops making that dumb choice.
