My 12yo son made me so proud yesterday. He’s recently started his first job as a soccer referee. There was a qualification required which involved a course fee and some travel to get to and from the games.

He decided from his first pay check that he’d use 1/2 his weekly pay to pay us back for the course fee/petrol etc (aka job related expenses) and the other half as spending money. 1st proud parenting moment.

A couple of months ago he said, once expenses are paid off he’ll start using the other half of his pay to buy BTC. 2nd proud parenting moment.

Yesterday he came to me with $20 and asked me to arrange his first purchase with an ongoing set up for weekly BTC purchases. Parenting Job DONE!

OK, maybe I’m ready to mic drop prematurely, nonetheless, this is a pretty cool parenting moment.
