We didn't put up a Christmas tree since we got our dog. Too risky.
So where do you put the presents?
Tree is usually 2nd weekend of December, but lights and decorations go up anytime after Thanksgiving. Because we go cut a real tree, and don't want it dried out and shedding needles by dec 25. Fun fact - I proposed at a tree lot while preparing to cut our family tree, with a ring box made from the previous year's tree trunk.
