Tree is usually 2nd weekend of December, but lights and decorations go up anytime after Thanksgiving. Because we go cut a real tree, and don't want it dried out and shedding needles by dec 25. Fun fact - I proposed at a tree lot while preparing to cut our family tree, with a ring box made from the previous year's tree trunk.
