i mean just setting up zaps takes a while and then you have to understand lightning etc.

I don’t really agree.
Revolutions aren’t supposed to be easy freedom takes effort, learning, and a bit of discomfort.
You just start, then you keep going.

it depends on what kind of revolution we are talking about. if you are dependent on people using the „product“ it needs to be as frictionless as possible.
otherwise it will remain niche.
it‘s the same with your other points. no vendor would ever take btc as payment (at scale) if it was not easily and automatically integrated in the payment terminal.
