i have not researched this in detail but my intuition is that the largest cost to miners is electricity so by simply switching off they can essentially „hibernate“ until price recovers.
hodl miners i‘d also assume have diamond hands and margin miners sell constantly anyway.
it‘s also quite evident from the bart linechart that (leveraged) trade ($45B trading volume) dictates price movement currently which exceeds volume by miner sales ($36M mined per day) by 3 orders of magnitude.

yes i am aware of those kinds of nip-22 signers. it‘s a good thing they exist but it just defends you a little bit.
if you end up leaking your nsec, amber will still not help you. you will loose everything.
i could not find any signers for ios, though. amber is also just for android.

Next step is to code the receiving relay to decode the radio signal back into notes 📒 . I cant get bitchat to communicate yet as no option to add relays. they seem hard coded in the app - therefore i was unable to send nip17 messages via the bitchat / satellite relay. @@`jack` @`calle` look forward to taking this to the next step and adding another layer to the decentralized global freedom coms.
