I tested the Proton Wallet. Super simple and intuitive, self-custody. A really great wallet, if it had the Lightning Network it would be even better
Saw that and will try it out. Some interesting privacy features.
This is great, still learning regarding non custodial ones though...
How safe can Proton Wallet be? It all relies on your Proton account not being hacked I guess..

I love PROTON MAIL 💜
But it is ironic that a “privacy by default” brand like them only allow you to create a wallet linking it to an email.
User experience will be awesome, but maybe #privacy is taking a second place in this case 😅

As long as your email isn’t linked to your identity does it matter? What am I missing?
I guess if you don’t have it link and don’t use any recuperation email nor phone it’s ok.
Started playing with it now creating account from scratch and seeing what info is required of me. I guess you can omit most kyc, you’re right. Those on chain transactions will be linked I guess to that email, but if you have good opsec I imagine it should be fine👀

Very good news and we can send / receive btc with just our proton email address (they generate new wallet address under the hood for each transaction).
If self custody looks good.
