I love PROTON MAIL 💜
But it is ironic that a “privacy by default” brand like them only allow you to create a wallet linking it to an email.
User experience will be awesome, but maybe #privacy is taking a second place in this case 😅

As long as your email isn’t linked to your identity does it matter? What am I missing?
I guess if you don’t have it link and don’t use any recuperation email nor phone it’s ok.
Started playing with it now creating account from scratch and seeing what info is required of me. I guess you can omit most kyc, you’re right. Those on chain transactions will be linked I guess to that email, but if you have good opsec I imagine it should be fine👀
