On friday i got my blood test results. I achieved that all the fat related numbers are now in the reference range. However i am low on iron and my thyroid seems to have a pretty high number of something called S anti TPO.

I am now having new goals regarding that.

And i would like to ask fellow nostriches what foods are high in iron to tackle this goal?

Eat meat!

Fun fact: there are iron things, which are for example shaped like fish, which are put into soups for the sake of increasing its iron content.

Its commonly used in parts of Asia.

If you use such a thing, you can just pimp your favourite soup with it.

Thanks. I started to ad red meat a bit more back on my diet. I am also looking out for recomendations with vegetables.

Unless you've been losing lots of blood or starving yourself for meat for a long time, you probably have enough iron in your body, just not recycling it properly which usually has to do with copper levels. check out this podcast for for info. best dietary source of iron for those that really need it is liver. https://takecontrol.substack.com/p/morley-robbins-copper-supplement

Thank you. Will listen to it.

Thanks for the direction you put me. I already eaten some cashew nuts. And it sparked my cooking skills, to cook beef liver with onions on wednesday :)
