Too many convos be like:

Person A: I have a proposal for how to improve this one little facet of the Navy.

Person B: BUT BUT BUT I think the Air Force plays a more important role than the Navy, therefore I’m gonna trash your sucky proposal as totally useless.

So many solutions are not either-or. There’re both-and.

This happens a lot in discussions on web of trust. Example:

A: Here’s a protocol and a format for doing ratings that I like.

B: BUT BUT BUT your way doesn’t work for the specific use case I have in my mind right now, so I’m gonna piss all over your sucky proposal.

We must come to terms with the fact that WoT must pull in data from lots and lots of sources in lots and lots of formats and we need to synthesize as many of them as we can. And AI / LLMs may be one method but not the only method.
