Seems to be working on my end. The green icon on top of the convo turns into a purple world icon

I just reloaded and shoulda gotten the updated version but mine just has a green network at the top of the convo and doesn’t seem to be active when I tap it

Is the other person a favourite? Did you go out of BT range?

I don’t have anyone in conversation (…nobody around)

How do I establish favorites from nostr?

You need to be in Bluetooth range with someone on bitchat first. Then, you add them as a favourite. Then open the private chat and go outside of BT range but connected to internet. You should then see a purple icon. Can’t add someone from nostr

Or can I even do that

Can’t. Maybe in a later update. No idea

My technical genius is way ahead of the curve😳🤯😂😂⭕️

You’re the future of nostr 😳😳🤨🤣🤣🤣

It’s sad but tru that when the ux gets to the point that I can figure it out is when the masses will come…it’ll be great for free speech but I’ll miss the days of 29 users🤦🏽‍♂️😂⭕️

This is interesting. Have you ever tried primal? If yes how do you find it compared to Damus

The ux is more intuitive on primal but threads and responses easier to follow on Damus….i toggle back and fourth between them (esp when we’re having a spirited ⭕️ thread🤦🏽‍♂️😂)

Impossible to follow a retarded thread on primal. It doesn’t show everything from the start

Exzackly

I feel like if Damus had 1 or 2 of the UX improvements from primal it would be perfect. I can’t put my finger on it exactly. I don’t use primal enough

I started on primal and used it almost exclusively for at least 6 mos… so I had a bit of a bias towards it when I started using Damus again but now I spend more time on Damus🤷🏽‍♂️

Prolly so Mcd wouldn’t fuss…and now I never hear from that fool anymore😳🥲

I think I started on iris or astral. Then Damus came along. Way better

I also like the “like” option on primal

The UI UX of the primal wallet is excellent

I’m guessing I’ll have to get people in bt range that or on nostr to develop a list of favorites in the bitchat mesh app?

I don’t think it has anything to do with your nostr contacts. It just uses the network to send encrypted DMs between bitchat users
