I don’t think I own a H.G. Wells book… losing my mind. Fabulous. I do, however, own the complete fiction of H. P. Lovecraft, which I think is more of what I’m after tonight, anyway. I also found my Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson under there, which is strange cos I thought it was on the bookshelf. Nothing is where I think it is. I’m going to have to organise under my bed this month. Many spiders. Much dust.

I have a collection of Jack London that’s been with me for about 4 decades.

I havent read Jack London yet, but everyone seems to have read ‘white fang’ 🫂 it’s definitely on the list 🔥

White Fang is the wild->domestic story. Call of the Wild (also canine protagonist) is the domestic->wild story. I like both. His short story “To build a fire” is also a classic.

Yay! H.P. Lovecraft! After I finishing studying some more esoteric traditions, I want to begin to read some of his work.
