While the UK media is constantly telling us the world is on fire due to climate change, the UK has had the worst summer as far as I can remember.

It’s fairly typical of some recent summers - we’re just stuck with the Gulf Stream this year. June was excellent, rubbish July and August, then a good Sept (I’m guessing)
I can't remember a British summer being this wet. June was typical, I wouldn't say excellent. If we had a really hot July then we'd be told it was proof of climate change. Since we're having a wet one, it's a rogue 'gulf stream' or it's the 'weather not climate'. They pick and choose depending on the conditions.
